Mrs. [Ida] Benson died last week at the St. Edward's hospital, where she had been confined for the past ten days. She had been employed for several months as housekeeper for Mr. Lee Long, who lives on the Charlestown road. Several weeks ago she fell from a ladder while picking cherries and her spine was injured. She was taken to the hospital and her mind finally became affected slightly. She was about forty years old.
