Died of Consumption.
Lexington, Ky., May 21. --- (Special.) --- Mrs. Sallie Turpin Southgate, wife of Rev. E. L. Southgate, died here this afternoon of consumption. She was forty-nine years old, and the daughter of Philip R. Turpin, of Carrollton, Ky. She was a sister of Dr. Turpin, of Laredo, Texas, and Philip Turpin, of Hawthorne, Fla. She leaves besides her husband, a large family of children. The ramins will be interred to-morrow at Highlands, near Newport.
