Mrs. Laura Fowler Posey, wife of the late G.K. Posey, died at the residence, Rt. 2, Blountsville, last Friday at 4:00 PM. Last rites were held at Austin Creek Baptist Church at 2:30 Saturday, Revs. Kirkland and Bradley officiating.
Surviving are five sons, Arthur Posey, Blountsville, G.P., Herschel, and Ernest Posey, Cleveland, Rt. 1, Ray Posey, Birmingham; 1 brother, Claude Fowler; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Green and Mrs. Ada Stancil, Birmingham; Mrs. Minnie Posey, Rt. 2, Blountsville; 17 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
Interment was in Austin Creek Cemetery, Brown-Service in charge.
