Jose Leroy was survived by his wife of 37 years, Virginia; sons Patrick of Santa Fe and Ronald of Albuquerque; daughter Anna V. Montoya of Nambe; his mother Frances Montoya of Nambe; brothers: Ben and Michael of Nambe, and Raymond of Santa Fe; sisters: Mary Roybal of Nambe and Fernie Giron of Pojoaque; 3 grandchildren; and other relatives.

Funeral services were on May 26 in the Sacred Heart Church in Nambe. Burial was in the Nambe Cemetery.
