The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mark United Methodist Church. Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, Friday between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Davis was born December 9, 1918 in Hampton County, SC, the daughter of Raymond Aiken Belger and Leonora Clifton Belger.
She was a Charter Member of St. Mark United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one daughter: Suzanne D. Motley (Bert) of Charleston, SC; two sons: Caleb L. Davis, Jr. (Shannon) of Charleston, SC and R. Steven Davis of Mount Pleasant, SC; seven grandchildren: Trey (Christine), Jeffrey, Lee, and Ben Davis, Michael, Mark (Danielle),and Brad Motley; three great grandchildren: Reid, Leah, and Ryland Davis; six sisters: Noreen B. Terry, Lois B. Cook (J.R.), Veda B. McMillen, Virginia B. Bishop, Wilma B. McMillan (Allen) and Frances Belger; one brother: Tom Belger (Nilda).
Memorials may be made to St. Mark United Methodist Church, 413 Geddes Avenue, Charleston, SC 29407.
