Samuel A. Bowen, Sr.
Samuel A. Bowen, Sr., of Old Troy Road, Couse, Corners, East Greenbush, died on February 13.
Surviving are his wife, Maud (Palmer) Bowen; two daughters, Mrs. Kurt Tempel and Mrs. George Hepinstall, Jr., both of east Greenbush; two sons, Captain Francis H. bowen, with the u.S. Air force stationed at Clark AFB in the Philippine Islands and Samuel A. Bowen Jr. of Laurel,Md; one sister, Mrs. Floyd Eckler of cooperstown, RD; one brother, Edwin N. Bowen, Cooperstown, RD, and six grandchildren. Another brother, Francis H. Bowen of Springfield Center is deceased.
Funeral services will be held on thursday at 2 p.m. from the Gordon Funeral Home in East Greenbush. Burial will be Blooming Grove Cemetery at Defreestville.
