KEIZER - Mavis Wellin was born December 11, 1924 in Newman Grove, Nebraska. She married Calvin Wellin on April 20, 1945 and together they enjoyed 65 years of marriage. She worked for Meier & Franks for 20+ years as sales associate. Mavis enjoyed dancing, bowling, RVing, gardening and jazz music. She was a member with Cal of the Elks and Eagles. Mavis was preceded in death by husband, Cal Wellin and son John Wellin. She is survived by her son, Wayne Wellin, daughter-in-law, Marlene, 5 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, May 8, from 10 am to 8 pm at Howell-Edwards-Doerksen Funeral Home. Graveside service Wednesday, May 9, 12 pm at Skyline Memorial Gardens, 4101 Northwest Skyline Blvd., Portland, OR 97229.
