Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home. Burial will be in Westminster Gardens.
A native of Guilford County, he was a Navy veteran of World War II, a life member of Veterans of Foreign War Post 8297, retired owner and operator of Kasey Electric Co., and a member of Gethsemane United Methodist Church.
Surviving are wife, Mrs. Pauline C. Kasey; son, George Garlan Kasey Jr. of Greensboro; daughter, Mrs. Lavonne Kasey Lee of Greensboro; sisters, Mrs. Katherine Kasey Williams of Greensboro, Mrs. Brenda Kasey Bowman of Brown Summit; four grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 tonight.
