--Frank married Mary V. Cook on Nov. 29, 1860. They had 9 children.
--After his wife died, he lived in Union County with daughter Addie & her family.
OBITUARY: The funeral of Mr. Frank Baker, a well known citizen of Sharon township, was held yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock at Sharon church, interment being in the church burying ground there. He died at 5 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at his home in Sharon after an illness of considerable duration. He was seventy-five years of age and was born and reared in Sharon township, where he lived all his life. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Mr. Hargett, of the Baptist church at Pineville, of which church the deceased was a loyal member and supporter. He is survived by the following children: Messrs. Alexander, John and Thomas Baker of Union county; Mrs. William Gordon and Mrs. Florence Surratt, of Providence, and Mrs. Henry Merritt, of Gaston county. His wife died a number of years ago.
