On Sunday morning, October 29 1944, at 8:30 o'clock, at the residence, 2112 Marengo Street, Mary Oswald,in her 86th year, wife of the late William Oswald, mother of Mrs. Arthur Barre, Mrs Edmund Carter, Mrs. James Coker, of Wasington, D, C., Thomas H., William S., Harvey F., and the late Lee Oswald, sister of Hattie and Harry Harvey.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral, which will take place Monday afternoon, October 30, 1944, at four o'clock from the House of Bultman, St Charles Avenue at Louisiana Avenue. Services at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Napoleon Avenue and La Salle.
Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.

Mary Harvey was a daughter of Henry Harvey born about 1827 in Pennsylvania and his wife Mary Toney, born about 1829 in Ireland.
Mary and William D Oswald were married Aug 30 1880 in Harrison, Mississippi. According to the Louisiana Death Records Index William Oswald was born in Mississippi in February, 1848 and died on July 14 1923 in Louisiana.
