EASTLAND -- Avos Marie Enos, 83, passed away Nov. 4, 2002. Angels entered the critical care unit at Hendrick Medical Center to carry Marie Enos, a loving mother, to her heavenly home.

Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Friday at Greenwood Memorial Chapel, Dick Case officiating. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park.

Marie Enos was born Aug. 8, 1919, in Lark, Okla., to Henry Burrow and Winnie Ann (Harris) Hargus. She attended school during the Depression in Oklahoma, New Mexico and Texas. She married Clifton Monroe Enos on Nov. 23, 1935, in Ryan, Okla. Her husband died on May 22, 1990 and she moved to Eastland, where she became a member of the Daughtery St. Church of Christ and was very active in the church. Mrs. Enos was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton, a son-in-law, Don Hazelip, and grandson, Kenny Enos.

Survivors: Children, Kenneth Ray Enos and wife, Ruth, of Fort Worth, Sandra Jo Hazelip of Eastland, Ron Enos and wife, Linda, of Oregon City, Ore., Connie Duncan and husband, Ron, of Edmond, Okla.; sisters, Christine Sitton of Saginaw, Jean Russell of Oklahoma City, and Doris Williams of North Richland Hills; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
