EDGEFIELD - Services for Joseph Rayford Brown, 72, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Republican Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 this evening at Rowland Funeral Home, North Augusta.
Mr. Brown died Saturday. Born in Greenwood, he was a member of Republican Baptist Church. He was a 32 Degree Mason and a Shriner and Past Master of Belvedere Masonic Lodge #388. He was retired from CSX Railroad.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy Lyles Brown of Edgefield; son, Joseph Brown of Charlotte; daughter, Becky Smith of Charlotte; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
