Pearl May Crow, 83, a Centerville resident, died Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 20, 1991, at the Centerville Care Center.
She was born in Powersville, Mo., on Feb. 10, 1908, the daughter of David Franklin and Charlotte Ann (Cochell) Browning.
She was united in marriage to Gilbert Clay Crow on June 30, 1929, in Unionville, Iowa. He preceded her in death on March 31, 1961.
Mrs. Crow and her husband lived on a farm near Cincinnati for 14 years until Mr. Crow's health forced them to move to Centerville where Pearl purchased and operated an apartment house on West State for many years. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Plano.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; four sisters, Dolly Browning, Laura Browning, Bessie Lee Bryant and Fannie Barrit.
Survivors include her sister, Hazel Dinsmore of Davenport and a brother, Robert A. Browning of Davenport and several nieces and nephews.
No funeral services will be held but a memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society and may be left at the Lange Funeral Home.
