W. BEDFORD FARMER,
DIES HERE SUNDAY
George Clay Mikesell, 55, West Bedford farmer and former Coshocton county school teacher, died Sunday at 2 p.m. at the city hospital following two weeks' illness.
Mr. Mikesell, who spent the earlier years of his life in the New Guilford vicinity, was a member of the West Bedford Methodist church.
He was born July 20, 1889 in Perry township the son of John E. and Elizabeth Conrad Mikesell. He was married June 22, 1929 to Mina B. Reed, who survives.
Other survivors are one daughter, Mary Evelyn Mikesell of the home; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. John E. Mikesell, Tunnel Hill; one brother, Herald Mikesell, Tunnel Hill; one sister, Myrtle Mikesell, Coshocton.
Services will be held Wednesday at 1:45 p.m. at the home in West Bedford followed by services at 2 at the West Bedford Methodist church with Rev. G. H. Langford officiating. Burial will be in South Lawn cemetery.
Friends may call at the home after 10 a.m. Tuesday.
