Wayne Young, age 82, of Conyers, died Friday, May 4, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joann Young; parents, Walter and Ollie Young; several brothers and sisters. Surviving are his children: Donna McCullers, Kathy (Ray) Yates, Mark (Crystal) Young, Cheryl Young, Amy Lott; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 1 brother; 2 sisters; nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 1 o'clock, Monday, May 7 in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3-6 at Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia, 770-482-4411, henryfuneral.com.
