Clarence Hornsby, 57, died Sunday at N.C. Memorial Hospital, Chapel Hill.
Born in Winnsboro June 13, 1925, he was the son of the late Joe Hornsby and Melvina Hudson. He was a retired carpenter.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs Elma Reynolds Hornsby; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Jo Nickles and Mrs. Jody Speagle; three sons, Clarence Hornsby Jr., Richard Hornsby and Lavonne Hornsby; three brothers, Joe Hornsby Jr, Robert Hornsby and Roy Hornsby.
