Grace Jerdee, 81, of Charles City, died Wednesday, December 5, 2007, at her home in Charles City.
Pastor Dennis Niezwaag of the Saint John Evangelical Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be held in Sunnyside Memory Gardens rural Charles City.
Grace Marcella (Slifka) Jerdee was born May 29, 1926, at Cresco, the daughter of Mike and Leone (Lewis) Slifka. She received her education from the Cresco schools. Grace married Alfred Jerdee. They later divorced. Later she married Harold Tindell. They later divorced. Grace will always be remembered as a great cook. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were very special to her and she looked forward to spending time with them.
Living four children, Duane (Ileen) Jerdee of Charles City, Dennis Jerdee of Charles City, Starla Tindell of Charles City and Randy (Sandy) Tindell of New Hampton; six grandchildren, Michell Tindell, Stephanie Tindell, Dillon Tindell, Amber Hanson, Spencer Elthon and Amy Hodgkiss; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters and brothers.
