Robert Milton Finley, 75, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2012. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2012, at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, May 10, 2012, at OakCrest Funeral Home.
Robert was born in Gwinn, Mich., to the late Max and Jenny Finley. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Robert married Charlotte Anderson in 1960 in Carlshend, Mich. After 32 years as a truck mechanic, he became a long haul driver.
He was preceded in death by a son, Kevin; two sisters; and a brother.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; son, Kurt Finley and wife, Lisa; daughter, Kari Jones and husband, Danny; brother, Leo Finley and wife, Phyllis; sisters, Miala Weir and husband, Ralph, Della Yoder and husband, Al, and Ann Finley; and many other family members and friends.
