Services for Ora Mae Hedrick, 86, of 411 Airport Road, were held Thursday in the Murray-Orwosky Chapel with the Rev. J O Walker officiating. Burial will be in the Brashear Cemetery with E.J Clark, Danny Joe Clark, Kevin McPherson, I.B. Coke, Mack Ishmael and Robert Stephenson serving as pallbearers. The Sulphur Springs Police Department served as honorary pallbearers.

Mrs. Hedrick died Tuesday at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital.

She was born, Jan 6, 1901, in Hunt County to Pleasant Mac Morgan and Lula Mae Shadden Johnston. She was a housewife and a member of the First Baptist Church of Grand Prairie. She married James David Hedrick on Sept 29, 1917. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by three sons, Luther James Hedrick of Mabank, Eldon Ray Hedrick of Mabank, and Dloyd Dean Hedrick of Grand Prairie; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Cul Johnston of Pasco, Wash.; four sisters, Mrs Willie Weir of Antlers, Okla, Bertha Hatchell of Sulphur Springs, Essie Workman of Lufkin, and Velma Phillips of Sulphur Springs.
