Funeral services for Ed Barnett, 84, who died Thursday at his home in Iberia, will be at 1:30 p.m. today at the Methodist Church in Iberia with the Rev. James Sweet officiating. Burial will be in the Iberia Cemetery.
Mr. Barnett was born May 8, 1879 in Maries County the son of William and Nancy Barnett. He married Nettie Thomas in 1904 who survives.
Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Austin Barnett of Iberia and Glen Barnett of Willow Springs; two daughters, Mrs. Lucy Williams of St. Louis and Mrs. Myrtle Wilson of Iberia; one sister, Mrs. Julia Sexton of Waynesville; one brother, Owen Barnett of Iberia, and 25 grandchildren
