Funeral services were held Sunday at the Noxon church for Algie Berray, aged 52 years. He passed away last Thursday afternoon at Thompson Falls after a few days' illness.
Mr. Berray is survived by his father, Cap Berray, a brother, Frank; a sister, Mrs. Helen Kirschbaum, three nieces, four nephews and an uncle, James Berray, all of whom reside on Bull River.
Deceased was born in New York State and came to Montana when but a few months old. He had resided on Bull River ever since. His parents came to Bull River when there were no roads other than mere trails and had to make their way up the stream by canoe to reach the homestead. Mrs. Berray, his mother, passed away last summer.
Rev. Van Vleit and Veterans had charge of the services.
