He was born and raised in East Feliciana Parish, in a community he thoroughly loved.
He was owner and president of Adams Enterprises Inc, a retired East Feliciana Parish school bus driver, one of the founding members of Associated Grocers Inc, and a member of the Folks VoTec Advisory Board.
He is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Julia Ann Wedding Adams; two daughters, Vicki (Darryl) Zachary and Kimmi (Billy) Allen; two sons, Maurice (Mechele) Adams and Roy Daryl (Tanya) Adams; a sister, Zula (Roy) Rogillio; three brothers, Norris (Ruth) Adams, Tommy (Mary) Adams, and Donnie (Carol) Adams; and several grandchildren.
