Services for Mrs. Blanch Woods, 54, dietician and supervisor at the Olney School Cafeteria since 1951 were held from the Olney Church of Christ with Lonzell Ross, minister, officiating.
She married Vollie Woods on 23 October 1924 and they lived on a farm near Seymour for several years.
Mrs. Woods served as dietician for the Seymour cafeteria for 10 years before moving to Olney and assuming her duties with the local schools in 1951. She was a member of the Church of Christ for many years with her husband. She was a very fine woman and her life was useful to her family, her community and her God.
Survived by her husband; one son - Don Woods; two daughters - Mrs. Nolan Davis, Jr. and Mrs. Wesley Hammontree; her mother - Mrs. Cora Brown; three brothers - Jack Brown; four sisters - Mrs. Joe McCauley, Mrs. J.W. Stoneman, Mrs. Bill Slaggle; five grandchildren.
