CLIFTON L "PERK" LOONEY SR, 84 of Ceredo, WV, died Dec 25, 2006, at Cabell Huntington Hosp in Huntington, WV. Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Dec 29, 2006, at the 1st Bapt Ch of Kenova, of which he was a memb, w Rev Steve Willis & Rev Tom Sharp officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cem. He was bn Aug 24, 1922, in Deel, VA, to the late Lee & Oma VanDyke Looney. Perk was retired frm Novamont Corp. He was a US Navy vet, having served during WW II. He was a memb of Am Legion Post #93 Kenova & Kenova Masonic Lodge #110 AF&AM & bth organizations will conduct graveside rites. He was also active in the Romans Visitation Group at his ch. In addition to his parents, Perk was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Avonelle Parsley Looney; 2 sis, Katherine Quesenberry & Faye Prince; 2 bros, Tom & Ernest Looney. He is survived by his wife, Gloria McQuinn Looney; 1 son & dau-in-law, Clifton "Skip" & Jonnean Looney of Florence, KY; 4 sis, Betts Wojsteck, Edna Stacey, Elsie Divers & Jean Viers; 1 bro, Bill Looney all of Danville, OH; 2 granddaus, Melissa & Wes Self & Brooke & Alden Pennington; greats Natalie Self & Ella Pennington; several nieces & nephews; 5 steps, Karen Webb, Kim, Kirk, Kevin & Kent Fisher; 11 stepgrands, Kris, Kacee, Kadera, Keaton, Kollin, Korey, Kelsey, Kasidey, Kadey, Keisha & Jamie; & 2 stepgreats, Janessa & Bryson. Friends may call frm 5 to 7pm on Thurs, Dec 28, 2006, at the 1st Bapt Ch of Kenova, 12th & Poplar Sts in Kenova.
