ALAMOSA - Alamosa resident Serina Danielle Sena passed away on April 28, 2012 surrounded by people who loved her.

Serina's smile was a ray of light to all who knew her and to each person she met. Her love for life was contagious; her love for Jesus shined through her smile, touching everyone she met. Serina loved art, music, singing, reading and especially going to church. She loved spending time with her friends and family and especially Jilian, Amika and her special nieces Jenivicia and Jeylenn.

Survivors include her loving parents Tanya and Moses Martinez of Alamosa, Colo.; siblings Jammie Bejarano, David Fisher, Hillary Fisher, Salamon Martinez and Moriah Martinez all of Alamosa, Colo.; grandparents Ernest and Rose Mesa, Jose and Shirley Martinez both of Alamosa, Colo.; Cecilia and Phillip Sena of Denver, Colo.; her biological parents Diane Arlene Sena and Ben Sena of Denver, Colo.; biological siblings Malerie (Wesley) Marquez of Alamosa, Colo.; Phillip Sena of Denver, Colo.; Benjilina Sena of Alamosa, Colo.; Stevie Ray of Alamosa, Colo.; Christopher Sena of Denver, Colo.; Desiree Sena of Denver, Colo.; Benny Sena Jr. of Denver, Colo. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Serina was preceded in death by her grandparents Rolando and Jenny Segura, aunties Liz Segura, Maxie Cordova and Sandra Sena.

Serina was deeply loved and will be missed greatly by all.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 6 p.m. at the Alamosa High School Gymnasium. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the Sangre De Cristo School. Interment will follow at the Alamosa Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Romero Funeral Home of Alamosa.
