Mrs. Susan Angel Called By Death
Mrs. Susan A. Angel, aged 87, widely known and loved Florence woman, died at her residence, 420 North Chestnut street, Tuesday morning at 3 o’clock after a short illness.
A native of the Green Hill section of Lauderdale county, Mrs. Angel has resided in this county all her life, having made her home in Florence for the past 40 years.
Surviving are one son, J. H. Angel, of Florence and 23 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the First Methodist church by Dr. A. M. Freeman, pastor of the First Methodist church, Florence. Interment followed in Florence cemetery, with Brown Service directing.
Pallbearers were J. H. Sharp, Dr. J. S. Thomas, W. B. Brown, Will Romine, Levi Hurst and Brown Stewart.
