Funeral Service for Ted Adams, age 84 Of Livingston, Texas, will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Bro. Irvin Mott will conduct the services.
Interment will follow the chapel service at Big Sandy Cemetery in Big Sandy, TX. Mr. Adams was born on December 10, 1927 in LuAnn, Arkansas, to parents, Joe and Arie Collins Adams, and passed away on May 5, 2012, in Livingston, TX.
Ted finished school in Flint High School and attended University of Houston. He married Arie Collins Adams in Houston, Texas. Ted was a member of Big Sandy Baptist Church and involved in many church activities; and belonged to the Masons.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Arie Adams; and sister, Virginia Wood. Ted is survived by his wife, Frances Adams of Big Sandy, TX; brothers, Joe Adams of Hemphill, Texas and Floyd F. Adams of Big Sandy, Texas; and sister, Arie Ann Taras of Montgomery, Texas.
