Inez Bennich was the first daugher of the late Milton and Erma Metcalf Buel. Born on 27 Sep, 1928, she left for Heaven 23 March, 2009. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p. m., Friday, at Sims Chapel Baptist Church for Mrs. Bennich, 80, Ball Play. Collier-Butler Funeral Home is in charge. She was a lifelong resident of Etowah County and a charter member and dedicated servant of Sims Chapel Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Foy Bennich; great-granddaughter, Ashley Rene Bennich; two brothers, John and James Buel; and one sister, Linda Fitts. She is survived by two sons, Troy (Christine) and Shane (Michelle) Bennich; two daughters, Gail Bennich and Diane (Chris) McCoy; three grandsons, Troy, Jr. (Rhonda), Todd (Shannon) Bennich and Jeff (Amanda) McCoy; two granddaughters, Jennifer (Phillip) Hanson and Makenna Bennich; eight great-grandchildren, Tyler, Jason, Andrew, Sanea, Katie, Drake, Zach and Cody; four siblings, Lonnie, Wyman, Mildred and Dorothy; and scores of loved nieces and nephews.
