G. Jean Thomas was born in February 18, 1916 in Felming County, KY to Hiram Christopher Roberts and LaNora (Lawhun) Roberts. She passed away on February 24, 2006 at her residence in Birch Tree, MO at the age of 90 years.
She is preceded in death by her husand, Jean Dervage Thomas, Sr.; her parents; two daughters, Jean Adalee Thomas and Sonja Ethelwyn Alford; seven brothers, Troy Mitchell Roberts, Glaness Behayse Roberts, Hiram Christopher Roberts, Jr., Amos Marshall Roberts, Ollie Mefford Roberts, Otto Clifford Roberts, Estle Jewette Roberts, and James Drenon Roberts; and two grandchildren, Jean Dervage Thomas III and Dennis Ray Sadler.
Jean is survived by seven children, William Mitchell Thomas of Birch Tree, MO, Jean Dervage Thomas, Jr. of Mtn. View, MO, John Paul Thomas of Birch Tree, MO, Bobye Lee Thompson of Apache Junction, AZ, Norma Rose Buckner of Heber, AZ, LaNora Kay Peterson of Birch Tree, MO, and Brenda Dae Looper of Phoenix, AZ; two sisters, Ester Durham of Saratoga, IN and Minerva Morford of Winchester, IN; one brother, Eugene Dae Roberts of Winchester, IN; thirty grandchildren, fifty plus great-granchildren and ten great-great-granchildren.
She was a member of Full Gospel Truth Church in Tulsa, OK and a Minister at the Evangelist Full Gospel Lighthouse Church close to fifty years. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 28, 2006.
