MATTAWAN - Leslie V. Derhammer, 87, died Friday at Lake View Hospital, Paw Paw.
Friends may call Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Thompson and Hawley Funeral Home, Paw Paw, where the funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m Monday. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Texas Township. Memorials may be made to the Visiting Nurses Association.
Mr. Derhammer was born Oct 9, 1906, in Texas Township. His wife, Dorothy, preceded him in
death in 1982.
Survivors include: six children - Marion Hobaugh of Portage Mich., Richard Derhammer of Mattawan, Robert Derhammer of Schoolcraft, Mich., Esther Cavanaugh of Interlachen, Fla., Jeanette Pontius of Kalamazoo and Gertrude Galich of Texas Town
ship; a sister, Lucille Lash of Three Rivers; a brother, Marcus Derhammer of Texas Township; 21 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
