Emilia was preceded in death by her husband, Ernesto Jaramillo, parents, Leonardo and Marianita Griego, brothers, Pedro Griego and Carlos Griego and sister, Flora Martínez.
Emilia is survived by one brother, Atanasio Griego and his wife, Mary, sons, Rudy Jaramillo and his wife, Sophie, and David Jaramillo, daughters, Elba García and her husband, Joe, Corina García and her husband, Melcor, Deluvina Gutiérrez and her husband, Acasio, Maria Espiñosa and her husband, Elias, Mary Lou Atencio, Gloria Jaramillo-Zarraga and her husband, Guadalupe, 20 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
Emilia was a former member of Legion of Mary and OLA Spanish choir, San Ignacio Spanish choir and Rosary group.
Emilia loved to bake bizcochitos, cook for everyone, go to the casino, play dominos and solve puzzles.
Services will be held at San Ignacio Catholic Church, 1300 Walter St. on Saturday, October 16, 2010. A Viewing will be held at 8:30 a.m. A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eric Atencio, Benny Chávez, Santiago Jaramillo, Leo Espiñosa, Casey Gutiérrez, Phillip Guti érrez, Thomas Gutiérrez, Anthony García and Robert García.
