Mr. Mont Page, 84, a retired farmer of 520 Meader Street in Campbellsville, son of the late Shelton and Martha Jane Yarberry Page, was born in Taylor County, October 15, 1886. He died at 11:50 a.m., Monday, July 5th, 1971 at the Metzmeier Nursing Home in Campbellsville. He had been a patient there for the past two days. He professed faith in Christ early in life and was a member of the St. Mark's United Methodist Church. He united in marriage to Miss Sallie Matt Jones, December 23, 1906. She preceded him in death, November 17, 1970. To this union four daughters and six sons were born. Pauline Page died in infancy; and Leonard Page preceded his dad in death, April 9, 1971. Surviving are Mr. Johnnie Page of Campbellsville, Route 6; Mr. Ulysses Page of Campbellsville, Route 5; Mr. Raymond Page of Danville, Ind.; Mr. Claude Page of Lexington; Mr. Burel Page of Lebanon; Mrs. Velma Wright and Mrs. Edna Dile both of Campbellsville; and Mrs. Mary Lou St. Clair of Campbellsville, Route 1. Besides his children, he is survived by twenty-five grandchildren; and thirty-seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 7th in the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home by Rev. Wendell Hurt and Rev. Kenneth Brown with burial in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
