Delmer R. Jordan passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012. He was born December 24, 1927 in La Grande, Oregon to Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Jordan. He graduated from La Grande in 1943 and from Northwestern College in 1946. He joined the U.S. Army, September 1946 and was honorably discharged in 1947.

Del married Barbara Fisk in 1949 in La Grande. He worked at First National Bank as a teller than an operational officer. A couple of years later, he went into partnership in managing a men's clothing store located in Pendleton, Oregon and later in Milton-Freewater, Oregon. His employment was diverse from men's clothing to Vice President of Washington Mutual Loan Department. In 1989, he partially retired from the bank and moved to Woodburn, Oregon where he did inspections for Banner Bank. His complete retirement was in 2005 when he and his wife moved to Moscow, Idaho to reside with their daughter. His hobbies included golfing, fishing and cross-stitching.

Delmer is survived by his wife, Barbara L. Jordan; son Alan Jordan; daughter Kim Lasich; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He had a gifted mind in finances and was known to help others in need financially. He was loved and will be greatly missed.

Graveside services will be held today, May 2, 2012, 12:00 p.m., at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 10th and Union Street, Kennewick, Washington.
