Laurence McKim

McKIM-Laurence P., retired Sedgwick County alcohol and drug counselor, died Dec. 29, 2005. Larry was born in Omaha and graduated from Notre Dame University in 1953. He was active in A.A. for 27 years.

Preceded in death by wife, Carol; parents, Edward and Mary McKim; brother, Edward McKim Jr.; sister, Ellen McKim Wallace.

Survived by sons, Mark and Kevin, both of Orlando, FL; daughter, Frances Rumrill of Penacook, NH; stepsons, Bradley Jenkins, Gregg Jenkins, both of Wichita, KS, Mark Jenkins of Newton of Newton, KS; stepdaughter, Janell Jenkins Foster of Wichita; sisters and spouses, Elizabeth and Dr. John Hartigan of Omaha, Jane and Dr. James Flood of Milford, IA; grandchildren, Gary Rumrill and Diane Rumrill of Penacook NH, Miles and Michael McKim of Orlando, FL; 6 stepgrandchildren; nephew, Michael McKim of St. Paul, MN; numerous other nieces and nephews.
