Harriet Esther Osborn was born at East Weber, Weber County, Utah, the daughter of Thomas Jefferson "Jeff" Osborn and Elizabeth Standley (2nd wife in poligamy). She married Andrew Jackson Mikesell on the 10th of April 1882 in the L.D.S. Temple at Salt Lake City by Joseph F. Smith.

Teton Valley News, Driggs, Idaho, 8 July 1926:

"Mrs. Andrew J. Mikesell died this (Thursday morning) at Sam, Idaho where her husband was working in the coal mines. Mrs. Mikesell came over from Ashton some time ago and took sick after her arrival, and after a short illness passed away. Deceased was the mother of 11 children, all of whom but one were present at the time of her death."
