LIVINGSTON -- Funeral services for Howard (N.H.) Glasscock, 84, of Livingston, will be held at 11 a.m. on Wed., May 26, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Overton County Memorial Gardens.

Military service at the graveside by the James T. Davis Post 5062 Honor Guard of Livingston, with full military honors.

Mr. Glasscock died on Sun., May 23, 1999, at Livingston Regional Hospital.

He was born on Jan 30, 1915, in Overton County to the late John Henry and Nova Adell Maynord Glasscock. Mr. Glasscock was a retired sheet metal worker. He was a Baptist and a member of VFW Post #5062.

He served in the Army during World War II. Mr. Glasscock was a member of the Military Police.

His family includes a son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Shelby Glasscock of Cookeville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Roger Phillips of Hilham and Linda and Mike Gilpatrick of Livingston; two brothers, Homer Glasscock of Livingston and Paul Glasscock of Allons; a sister, Myrtle Waites of Allons; a grandson; four granddaughters; and a great-granddaughter.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Allen Glasscock.

Revs. Henry McCrury and Donald Cobb will officiate at the services.
