DEATH SUMMONS WILLIAM DENISON
Funeral services for William Denison, 82, of near Adamsville will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the residence with Rev. Robert Binkley, pastor of the Adamsville Lutheran parish officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
Denison died Saturday night at his home following a lingering illness. He had been seriously ill for two weeks.
The son of Mary and William Denison, he was born in Salem township, Aug. 16, 1863. He was a member of the family for whom Denison University was named. He was a retired farmer.
On Feb.18, 1911, he was married to Miss Georgiana Knicely, who died in 1924. A brother, Charles, and a sister, Miss Anna Denison, also preceded him in death.
He is survived by a number of cousins.
The body was returned to the residence Sunday morning from the Shirer & Son funeral home in Adamsville.
