Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Tuesday in charge of the Rev. Chas. F. Wilkins and the Rev. A.A. Pearce from the home of his sister, Mrs. W.J. Bandy of East Newport with burial at Walnut Grove Cemetery in charge of Frank Leach, undertaker.
Mr. Griffin was born at Maynard, Ark.
In addition to Mrs. Bandy, he is survived by another sister, Mrs. Fern Miller, West Helens, his mother, Mrs. Nevada Griffin, West Helena; five brothers, Harry, of Paducah, Kentucky, P.J. of Rockport, ILL, A.L. of Helena, Raymond of Shreveport, LA.
