Nellie Coffman Sands was born in Maynardville, Tennessee to Mary Belle Sexton and passed away in New Castle, Indiana. Nellie married William (Bill) Anderson Sands on July 18, 1914 in Union County, Maynardville, Tennessee.

Nellie and Bill moved to Indiana about 1927 and lived in the Cambridge City area until her death.

She loved to watch Hee Haw and she loved cats. She always had yellow kitties. She loved her grandchildren - all grand daughters. Twelve girls!

She married Bill in 1914 in Maynardville, Tennessee area. Bill passed away in 1967. Nellie is survived by three sons, Charlie and Bob of Cambridge City; William Jr. ofConnersville and a daughter, Lucile Nicholson, of Cambridge City, Indiana, and all her grand daughters.

She is preceded in death by her husband, mother Belle Coffman, and a son, Don, who passed away in 1948 in a tragic truck accident.
