Mrs. Eaddy was born in Chappells, a daughter of the late Calvin A. Brooks and the late Minnie Estelle Pitts Brooks.
She was a retired school teacher, a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and a graduate of Chappells High School and Lenoir-Rhyne College.
Surviving are three sons, W. Brooks Eaddy of Gastonia, N.C., John L. Eaddy of Columbia and Calvin A. Eaddy of Manning; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Eaddy was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Roddy, and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann Eaddy.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 10 in Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway.
The family will receive friends after the service in the church fellowship hall.
