Henry J. Brake, 37, of Rt. 2, Sauk Centre, died in the Melrose hospital some thirty minutes after his pick-up truck was struck by Burlington Northern Train No. 2503 about 3 miles east of Melrose.
Scene of the accident was the road known as the New Munich crossing. Mr. Brake was alone in the truck.
