James Hoffman, age 81, died at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. & Mrs. Herman LeJambre, Columbus Road near Bordentown; on July 4. He is survived by 6 sons William of Jobstown, James of Camden, Harry of Trenton, George & Francis of Georgetown & Charles of Washington; 5 daughters Mrs. I.G. Haines & Mrs. Michael Bakey of Georgetown, Mrs. James Bradley of Mount Holly, Mrs. LeJambre, & Mrs. Joseph Kunzi of Washington, D.C.; 42 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery. He served with the NJ Volunteers in the Civil War.
