Mary was born to Albert Pauli and Ida Mae (Danz) Pauli. She married Charles Brauer on June 8, 1952, at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. He passed away October 20, 1991. She later married David C. Connelly on April 17, 1993, also at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. He survives.
Also surviving are her children, Paula (Jerry) Horst, Catherine (Ward) Lenz and John Brauer; stepson, Douglas Connelly; two brothers, Richard Pauli and Harold (Carolyn) Pauli; one sister, Anna (Russ) Jacobsen; sister-in-law, Joan Brauer Ross; six grandchildren; three step grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her stepdaughter, Jeanne Ringler.
Mary was a graduate of Proctor Hospital School of Nursing and worked many years in the Peoria area.
