EUGENE JOSEPH AUCHLY, 82, thirty nine year resident of Dickinson, Texas, passed away April 29, 2012. He was born on September 25, 1929 in St. Louis, Missouri to parents, Joseph Eugene Auchly and Delphine Auchly. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Margaret Elias. He was a member of the St. Vincent De Paul Society and a member of the Knights of Columbus.



He is survived by his wife of 57 years Theresa Auchly; his eight daughters, Barbara Gravitt, Susan Minks, Catherine Bishop, Sharon Brannen, Carolyn Auchly, Brenda Dudley, Terri LeBlanc, Gerri Gonzales; and sister, Delphine Troy; sixteen grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.



Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2012 at Shrine of the True Cross Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Dickinson. Jason Zepeda, Henry Minks, Derik Brannen, Alex Pacheco, and Dustin Garner will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent De Paul Society, 2403 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, TX 77021.
