Emma Glenda Glascock Hite, 97, of Nyssa, passed away April 29, 2012 at a local hospital.

Emma was born Jan. 4, 1915. She was the first of six daughters born to George and Anna Glascock, Emma, Viola, Thelma, Gloria, La Verne and Lo Vena.

Emma married James Hite, he preceded her in death. James and Emma had three children, Ruby, Anna and Joseph. Emma resided in Oregon all her life. She left the Nyssa area in 1946 and returned in 1961.

Emma is survived by three sisters; her children, Ruby, Anna (Jack), Joseph (Johnna); 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren.

At Emma's request there will be no services.
