Mae Wright Adams, 85, of Adel, passed away Monday, April 30, 2012, at Memorial Hospital of Adel. Mrs. Adams was born in Shelby, N.C., to the late Coran Clyde Wright and Ethel Palmer Wright. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Adel for 60 years, a member of the Fidelis Sunday School Class and a homemaker. She was very active in her church and had a strong faith in her Lord and Savior. Her gift was giving from the heart to family and friends and never expecting anything in return. She was a true caregiver. She loved her family and friends unconditionally and loved sharing her love of flowers with them.

Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her husband, Atys Weldon Adams; two brothers; and one sister; and her parents.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Wayne; her grandchildren, Lara, Jason, Nicole and Michael; a great-grandson, Noah; and two great-granddaughters, Emma and Sofia; one brother and sister-in-law, Hal and Shirley; one sister and brother-in-law, Kate and Ben; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.
