Mrs. Amdor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Farrell of Omaha, Nebraska was born in Omaha on October 23, 1907, graduated from Omaha South High and Iowa State Teachers College at Cedar Falls; also took three years post graduate work at Iowa State College at Ames, Iowa. She taught Home Economics at the Massena High School for five years.
On December 27, 1934 she was united in marriage to J. E. (Ed) Amdor of Massena. To this union were born four children, three daughters, Ruth Claire, Mary Patricia, Judith Ann, and one son, John Edward. Also surviving is her mother, Mrs. D. J. Farrell, brother Dan Jr. sister, Mrs. John Ruther, all of Omaha; brother Andrew of Falls Church, Virginia, and William P. of Valley Stream, New York.
Serving as pall bearers were Kenneth Jensen, Gilbert Schoenbohm, Alfred Hogan, Dale Wolford, all of Massena, Raymond Jennings of Conway, Iowa and Jim King of Dunlap, Iowa.
Rev. Father Bart Kane of Greenfield officiated at the services in the absence of Rev. Father Peter Schmitz. Music was provided by the church choir, accompanied by Mrs. Roy Lewis at the organ. Interment was in Calvary cemetery at Massena, Iowa.
