BAILEY — Funeral services were scheduled for 2 p.m. today for Elmer Harrell, 79, of Bailey, in the chapel of the Owens Funeral Home in Wolfe City. The service was conducted by the Rev. Bob Seals. Harrell died Wednesday night at a Leonard nursing home. Burial was in the Arledge Ridge Cemetery. He was born Sept. 31, 1904 to Dee and Minerva Harrell. On Dec. 23, 1928 he was married to Lou Ora Smithson at Marshall, Arkansas. He was a Baptist and a heavy equipment operator. Survivors include a son, E.J. Harrell of Ector; a daughter, Willie Woodruff of Leonard; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Julius Harrell of California and Doc Harrell of Marshall, Arkansas, and one sister, Ethel Jackson of Marshall, Arkansas.
