William Edwin Pollock, age 30 years, died at the family residence 232 West Seventh street, Wednesday evening at 7 o'clock after a short illness of pneumonia. He was united in marriage April 15th, 1913 to Miss Helen Bowden. He is survived by a wife, two children Donald and Betty Louise; parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Pollock, of East Ninth street; three sisters, Goldie, Martha, Vada, of this city, Katherine, of Camp Greene, N. C. and one brother, David Jr., of the American Expeditionary Forces.
Mr. Pollock has been employed as an engineer on the L.E.& W. railroad in this city for ten years and is very well known all along the division. He was a member of the B. of L. E. 548.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the family residence and interment will take place in the Reyburn cemetery. Rev. C. H. Smith will officiate.
