Roberta was also a life-long member of the Church of Christ. She was very active in the Lockhart Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school and volunteered in activities such as Meals-on-Wheels, vacation bible school and various ministry outreach programs. Her faith was a very important part of her life and she dedicated her life to God and the church.
Roberta is survived by her husband of 65 years, Forister Cardwell; her son, Jerry Cardwell, of Lytton Springs, and her son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Cindy Cardwell, of Pflugerville. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Christy Reyna and her great-grandson, Colby, of Lytton Springs, grandson William Cardwell, of Dale, and step-granddaughter, Carley Weber, of Pflugerville."
